Developing and coining the Kayak Spoon in 2017 was the culmination of 10 years of spoon carving and a lifetime of craft. It was a humbling experience and to this day I try to actually do a good job carving it. 
I'm happy I did one in shimmering, carbonized birch with fun and archaic chip carving.
